Hi followers,

A quick update.  I haven’t been writing for months due to family commitments with a new baby, and of late due to ill-health.  Unfortunately I haven’t been keeping as well recently and brain fog have meant  I haven’t been blogging much.  There are still plenty of blogs on my heart to write, so God willing I will get back to it soon.

I just want to encourage you all to keep looking to God and leaning in to hear his steadying voice.  And I remind myself also that when things get tough to hold on to the dreams and aspirations He has put on your heart.  He is sovereign and His ways are perfect.  Trust Him.

Back soon…

Happy Easter

Sometimes the hardest struggles precede the greatest movements and experiences of God. I can see it in my own life but also we see in Jesus’ life and aren’t we glad…Happy Easter everyone…He is not dead, He is alive!!

The apple trees of tomorrow

A cry for church action on climate justice and fossil-fuel divestment.

It was 1963. Washington D. C. The young African-American pastor rose to his feet. He said ‘I have a dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.”

The Heart

When your heart beats in rhythm with God’s heart, great things can happen…For you. For your community.  And for the world.  Equally when you are feeling frustrated by the lack of opportunities to exercise your God-given and heartfelt passions remember; He is the pacemaker.  Everything happens in His perfect will and timing- so keep going!

Inspiring Change

Please feel free to take a look at some of our hopes and plans for the future

Welcome to our vision for an inter-denominational creation care charity that inspires change.  A brief summary of our ideas is set out below, based on a proposal written in August 2014.  The full document can be accessed here.  It’s a work in progress – already it’s clear that we’d like to be an all-Ireland charity as soon as is practical, and that we might also want to focus our work on counter-consumerism and/or animal welfare, in addition to ecology and agro-ecology.  But it’s a start; a basis for dreaming, praying, planning and hoping.  Please join us.  Read all about it here.

I am acutely aware that there are many who suffer long-term physical and mental ill-health, and it’s my desire that by sharing some of my story it will give you hope and encouragement.
